I'm at it again. Oh, BTW, I started doing these years ago, with England and The Aztecs you know, not just yesterday with America. Today it's Spain.
This went much better this time 'round. In fact, this really may just be CIV HISTORIES: Spain Part 1...we'll see. I'm not always so great about going back into a saved game even though I think this one should be fun if I did. Again, we'll see.
Let's continue on from where we left off in the above "quill-written log entries" back when Elizabeth haughtily received us in 2560 BC...
As you can see, a most interesting mix...
This time we have, in 1835, myself as World Congress leader but not number one in points, that's Gandhi's India (bright green) with me in second, Pocatello's Shoshone (brown) in third. If you've played Civ V, you'll know that at the moment it still favors India to have immense cities but keep the number of cities at bay due to their civ's special traits. The Shoshone are, like they were in yesterday's game, madly in favor of a wide play strategy, spreading almost completely over the entirety of the North American continent. I didn't check but I'd guess if not already, they as well as the other ultra-wide players like The Ottomans (cream) and The Zulu (tan) are going to have dissent especially now that most of us are well into the industrial age and have adopted our ideologies. IF I were to go back in, I'd continue with my somewhat conservative growth and next focus on consuming the Songhai (orange). Their cities do have value as they have fertile lands with exploitable luxury resources so I'll annex (most of) them. The Zulu and Ottoman crap cities will all be raised though as I by then would begin my drive home to the ultimate prize of world conquest. It's set to a "domination" only win so, I have no choice. No pretty rocket to Alpha Centauri. Blood and fire. Oh, and nukes. Especially with Gandhi in the world...many nukes.
