No words for today...what will tomorrow bring?

How about my stake?

It's well after market close, Schwab takes forever to update...

Hit me Baby...Show me the big board Ed...Only it ain't "What the World Needs Now" playin'...

and then there was Friday...

EDIT: By 2:30 pm the next day (Friday) I decided I needed to drastically reduce my risk as the markets continued their precipitous nosedive. I sold $5,000 out of Alger and $6,000 out of Schwab S&P500. I'll forward five grand into the Heartland account and the six to Ally savings which earns 3.6% APY. I can't take any more (this calendar year) or I'll pay taxes. I could pull it from the funds and put it into safer options like bonds or just cash within the IRA but I figure I'll kick myself if the market does pick back up later in the year, but at least I'll have saved funding for the remainder of this year if worse comes to worse. If shit does go further south as the next week progresses into the continuation of the month in general, I may have to do so and then that will be that for the dream of seeing investment returns resupplying my withdrawals throughout my retirement. But at least I won't have to worry about this fucking roller coaster ride anymore.

EDIT 2: It's 4:47 am Monday. I've had a fitful weekend. SNL's cold open mocking Trump's Rose Garden tariff announcement which kicked this mess off dulled the pain a little, but not enough. Yahoo Finance is forecasting both S&P and Dow futures in the negative 3 range again today and I know I have to do what I did back, oddly enough, in this same month five years ago...cash out all funds. Like then, I'll put it back in when, and if, things get better.
