The World Right Now?

And as I glance over the headlines this morning, it all seems to be coming to a head this weekend.

FRANCE:

Well there's this shit going on there throught the country. And it's spilling over into Italy from what I read too. Student protests over poor education, so says the standard media. Other on-scene amateur live action social media indicate quite another picture. Looks like the 2020 riots in parts of the US over strained race relations and other factors but amped up like ten-fold. Here's just a smattering of screen grabs. Sadly, notice the before and after shot of the Limoges city hall. Damn, such a beautiful building; probably gone forever now.

CANADA:

This was still a big mystery but there are reports of some really big disaster at a military base and a raging fire in the Edmonton area, so much so that hospitals in that city are reportedly overwhelmed. A city of over a million? What? Did a nuke go off? Do they have nukes in Canada?

USA:

Trump is suspending his "planned" sanctions on Russia and instead he'll be arranging to buy oil from them? Is this right, or is this bullshit? Somethings gotta be wrong here...

UKRAINE:

Zelensky is fed up saying he thinks Trump is betraying him. He's being left high and dry with Musk-controlled Starlink restrictions and so he'll start attacking Russian oil refineries again.

TAIWAN:

Announced they're implementing a new AI detection system that will give advanced warning on mainland Chinese military infiltration. So, basically, a localized version of the W.O.P.R. system seen in WarGames. Nothing could go wrong here.

NORTH KOREA:

They've been eerily quiet lately, haven't they? That can't be good.

SEBRING:

Well the temps finally broke into actual fall-like weather for us tonight. I mean 65° for cryin' out loud! Whenever this happens every year, it does so just like this... one day, as normal, it's in the eighties, hot and humid, then BAM, overnight it gets legit chilly! It really does seem like Hell in a Handbasket.
