Yes, this is where I've been. Instead of religiously blogging each, or every other day, I've been afflicted with Transport Fever and have been spending a shameful number of hours of each day building my perfect transportation empire. This time, I kept it small so hopefully Mildred won't blow up as we advance towards the later part of the twentieth and into our time period. Here it's 1966 and it's still holding up okay. A little laggy here and there, especially when I ride the trains, or fly on the planes... and especially when it's raining. But I just this week did my 2027 budget and even with the SS COLA, the real cost of living means I'll not be gettin' a new Mildred this year so we gotta make due and hope we can keep chuggin' along.
Still on easy. But I figure I really don't need to be. I make bank readily and quickly taking minimal loans and using attainable subsidies (most of the time). As you can see, I've got a billion in my account and am ranked "Tycoon" so not too shabby. I could modernize the grand central station but it looks great in that Beaux Arts style so I'll keep it that way, of course. Plus, it goes well with my Headquarters which I placed strategically right across the tracks from my main station... the view as passengers pull into the station is quite grand indeed.
