OMG, if I had been sippin' my Diet Pepsi at the moment I saw the thumbnail for SNL's cold open clip on YouTube tonight, I would have splurged it on my monitors in a big ol' spit take!
Like so many other SNL fans, I'd been waiting with utter eager anticipation to see if Lorne would book Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation), and if he would accept, to, of course, play a parody of FBI Director Kash Patel. (Oh no spellcheck, that's how he spells it, Kash with a "K," and, in da club he be known as KA$H.)
Colin played Hegseth again in his usual bullying drunk fratbro persona; the crowd in the audience and in the comments freakin' love him. I'm warming to him especially this week as the jokes were much wittier and Colin seems even more comfortable in this portrayal now.

Oh, but before we get to the clip, my eye caught this shit sometime last week during one of the head-spinning news conferences the real Hegseth was giving with this general or whatever. WTF is with his chest full of medals? I mean, the dude looks about in his forties or something, how is it he was in every conflict America's been in since the Civil fucking War?
