Turning The Tables

Venture back with me to 1785 in an alternate timeline in which a mighty Persian Empire spans the entirety of the Middle East and a Persian caravel happens upon an upstart little country on the east coast of North America. What say we go make a visit with our mighty fleet of frigates and threaten America's tiny civilization? Or maybe we'll give them a "couple weeks" to think about it in which time we'll advance in technology enough to put our vast oil reserves to good use and upgrade our frigates to battleships?

EDIT: Their "two weeks" was about two centuries in game time but I made my way across the Mediterranean Sea with my ships (after a quick upgrade in the Red Sea) and the Sahara Desert with my troops, having to fight Portugal since she was the only one in the way who refused to give me open borders. Then my forces joined in the Atlantic and made for the American shores.

Us: Ding, dong.
Georgy: Who is it?
Us: Death.
Georgy: Death who?
Us: Death to America!

We built the Manhattan Project but the additional tech and time needed to actually produce nukes would have delayed the glory a bit too long so...

Does this settler unit think he will save his civilization by fleeing into the "safety" of the Iroquois lands?

Denied. My good friends the Iroquois gladly gave me open borders. They know what the Americans did to their people in that other timeline.
