So I just found this on the conspiracy subreddit:
I was especially struck by the phrase "JESUS would have wanted PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH, just like I do!" and I quickly looked for a matching image on Google. Took only a couple seconds to find Glorious Flag Bearing Horseback Jesus Wielding An M-16 shown above. It was ready and waiting. As are, no fucking doubt, many, many MAGA Armageddon anticipating motherfuckers. Some of them might be your neighbors. I know some of my neighbors are.
Of course, the supposed "real" looking Truth Social post pasted by the redditor has been determined by the mods and the general consensus on Reddit to be fake. It was only posted today and it looks like it was dated from the 16th. The content, though similar to what Trump's been saying about the Pope is a bit strong, even for him, I guess, but certainly to the extent that the media would surely have picked up and reported on this if it had been real. Especially the allegation that Trump has the skinny on secret "Vatican Files" which he won't disclose but will wave over the Pope's head anyway. What?! Of course no such post exists on Trump's Truth Social account now but has he not deleted shit soon after posting before? Yep.
And that's the cra cra-est part. We think it's fake after a bit of second guessing, but on first glance... it's just so fucking believable. I mean, it's totally within his context of his version of normal. Would this be in any other president's version of normal? Hell no! We now live in times when our president can say such weird shit and we just accept it for "who he is" and, conversely, anyone can fake shit about his posts or whatever and we can so easily fall for it.
It's getting to the point that if we really do hear tell that Trump's announced he's dropping a nuke on Iran, I'm not sure if we should expect WWIII to be breaking out or is it time for another colorful illustration?
