Went out this morning and mowed my lawn after having just trimmed my boogies and weed whacked a couple-three days ago and I thought, "It's a beautiful, sunny Florida fall day, upper 70s, puffy white clouds...gorgeous...let me take some new pics of the ol' homestead." But by the time I got done fartin' around a few hours later, the clouds had started rollin' on overhead in greater quantity and, well, it looks like afternoon showers. Whatcha gonna do -- it's Florida! Here ya are anyway. My boogies did have blooms when I trimmed them and clipped them off but don't you fret, they'll grow back. As you can tell by these still persistent afternoon rains, they really hold off until drier weather anyway so wait a few weeks and they'll be big eggs of blaring fuchsia and purple.
