Did I mention I'm going?
I think I hinted at it in a previous post, but maybe I hadn't confirmed it? Well, it's official...I'll be going to Epic Universe.
I bought the three day ticket deal they're forcing us to buy (one day for each of the parks) and booked my hotel (the same hotel I stayed at during this Universal stay a few years ago).
It won't be opening day. I thought that would be too much madness for me. Remember, been there, done that, and didn't get on rides I really wanted to because of the massive crowds. So I'll be going the first week of June, just two weeks after it opens. This avoids opening week and Memorial Day week crowds. Hopefully it'll be a bit less intense in terms of attendance.
My next big effort in getting ready for that visit is the fact I need to trim down as I don't want to be denied any ride because of my size and from the looks of them in all these previews, they'll not be "fluffy friendly." Plus I need the stamina to stay the full day, especially for the Epic Universe day. I want to experience it all. As you can see from this following video and others I've already posted, this park will look awesome in both day and night.
