2:27 - Close to totality overthe border I saw at least one comment saying the illegal immigrants are just waiting for total darkness and that's when they're going to strike their way going right across the border.
2:30 - Del Rio is a little cloudy so they're getting the totality but they don't have full View all the time of the Sun but when it does poke through the clouds the crowd whoops it up.
2:31 - The reporter is interviewing this woman who's talking about her students viewing the eclipse and her eyes are crossed it looks like she may have looked at the sun oh no.
2:32 - There's a guy with a wine that has a special label the wine is called Eclipse he says it was made specifically for this event and the bottle has a cutout in the middle of the label on the front with the picture of the corona of a sun around that cut out and then on the other side of the bottle there's a dark moon so that when you hold up the bottle of white or rose wine I guess this wouldn't work too well with a dark red you can see through it and see the moon moving into the cutout Circle kind of cool.
2:37 - They're talking to one reporter's mom in Mazatlan as he's covering the event in Cleveland the mom is sharing her experience and the sun remembers his experience in 2017 and he's anticipating what he's going to be seeing pretty soon and it does remind me of the feeling I had when I saw the eclipse in 2017 in Charleston it truly is a spiritual feeling even if you have no religious inclination there's a cosmos spirituality I remember feeling pretty deeply as I talk about in this post.
2:39 - Dallas in less than 2 minutes now that's most likely where I would have gone had prices not been in the same but frankly looking at all these places and the massive crowds that would have been a big issue too I can deal with a bit of the crowds but even Charleston was a little overwhelming 7 years ago with the massive traffic and as you remember I couldn't even find a place to park so that I could enjoy the Old Town Charleston after the event so I'm not sure if I had made it to Texas and plunked down the amount of money they wanted to charge for hotel rooms if I would have been all that Keen that having to endure these gaggles of people.
