Speaking of that scene, it's been pretty dullsville this year. Chicken Andy's RV trip ended in stunning disaster when his RV got stuck on the side of a highway and moments after Chicken's head had pulled out from under his rig as he was checking out his tires, a car rammed into the back of the rig, slid against the left side, and flipped a few yards away. Amazingly, no one was hurt, both of the RV crew, and the car driver, but the rig was wrecked. The 24/7 live stream had weeks before been banned from YouTube so it was only extant on Kick anyway with far less viewers and, subsequently, far less donos of course.
Captain Content had been streaming some interesting stuff from his hometown in Spain over the winter, but it was interesting only to people like me who get off on historical buildings and European tourist sightseeing, not the fare of your generic IP2 enthusiast. In the spring he flew back home to California and it seemed like he was doing a job of some sort as a driver of someone's car. Not ferrying passengers, I think he was just driving the car from one spot to another. He went back to streaming proper from his usual beat up RV boondocking on the streets of LA, but this summer with no Mauricio, no Goocheese, no Andy Dick, and no jams with Harry, he's just been playing his guitar and singing solo. Very boring. Totally not living up to his name.
And even Jimi the Hobo has become totally passe. He's now full-time living with his ex-wife in New Mexico. I don't know if they got back together or what but as far as his streaming it's just him sitting there offering fire sales but it doesn't look like many are buying. No TJ content, no hanging with his buds in Rosarito, no Heilika drama.
So as far as me spending hours watching the streamers doing their live streaming thing, this summer all I have to say is fuck it.
