Found this cute puppy's Live Stream notification in my YouTube feed alerting me to the ousting of Disney CEO Bob Chapek and being replaced by former CEO Bob Iger.
Lots of criticism over the past few years over Bob Chapek's handling of Disney. Everything from his dealings with the Star Wars acquisition, the handling of Covid's impact and institution of nickle-and-diming like Genie+, and even his reaction to Florida Governor's recent Don't Say Gay legislation bullshit and his lack of support for the LGBTQ position. Not many fans of him so today's decision is no real surprised.
We'll see what this all means for a lowly semi-employee like me but I expect to hear some callers talking about it when I start servicing next week.
