It's Full Of Stars

In 2001: A Space Odyssey, Astronaut Dave Bowman exclaims the titular phrase as he's enveloped by the monolith and transported...elsewhere/time-where/nowhere? It's never simply described but it's implied his experience was awe inspiring. The above image is just one of many disseminated to us mere earthlings trapped on our tiny planet in the vastness of what was so newly vividly revealed. The image-maker? The new James Webb Telescope in orbit. Like Hubble before him, the sights to be seen are dazzling. Of course, if you remember, Hubble got off at first to a rocky start with that mirror problem, corrected later by a space walk visit, but the images have been, and continue to be, great. These from Webb are clearly more detailed and it's expected Webb will see much farther and with much more detail than Hubble ever could.

See, all the news isn't bad news. There's still some bright future hints amidst the fray.
