| Kruggy II |
If you remember, in June 2019 I sold my last gold bullion coin I had, nicknamed "Kruggy," a 1oz. 1978 Gold South African Krugerrand. I kinda regretted it ever since. Well, as of today, I have a new Kruggy sitting in the box I bought for her predecessor. Believe it or not, though I selected "random year" when ordering, I got a coin from the same mint year, 1978. It even has an indented pip in exactly the same place, but I did a image search and these older coins usually have missing pips here and there so I guess it's a different coin. It also has a few more micro-scratches so I'm sure it is different. Still, very eerie coincidence.
