The first video of mine on YouTube to hit over 10,000 views. Pretty neat, huh?
And I didn't do it by creating a fad video capitalizing on some hot topic of the day, or giving it a sensational and outrageous title, but on the same note, it's not that phenomenal either. Just a simple mash-up of old '50s sci-fi films and US Army footage of atom bomb tests, mixed with narrative text directing the intent as an homage to Issac Asimov's "Foundation" series and set to dramatic music in the form of Gustav Holst's "The Planets".
Well, the title does imply it's a trailer for the incredibly slow-to-release new movie about the aforementioned story. But the description defines it as simply a tribute piece.
So congratulations to me, for posting a pretty cool little short flick on YouTube.
